The event marks the opening of the OPEN TINOS – Dove Routes festival.

The CODE21 platform is a new digital archive for the mapping and documentation of the dovecotes of Tinos, connecting cultural heritage with contemporary creation. Funding actions are supported by the Cyclades Preservation Fund. Scientific collaborators, local institutions, associations, and artists will participate in the presentation, presenting the vision and prospects of the project, among others: Christos Artemi, artistic director of KINONO – inspirer & co-creator of the CODE21 platform: tinosdovecotesplatform, Dr. Avraam Mavridis, Special Researcher of the EU – Professor of Geoinformatics – inspirer, co-creator & Scientific Director of the CODE21 platform, Aleka Gourava, architect specializing in the Dovecotes of Tinos, PhD candidate at the National Technical University of Athens, Ioannis Psaltis, president of Friends of Green Tinos, and others. After the discussion, there will be a concert by Ross Daly with the musicalized poem "Apokopos" at a dovecote in Agia Triada (bus transfer at 21:00). The presence of local bodies, associations, and residents is crucial for the promotion and protection of this unique heritage.
